In previous installments of this critique, it was argued that Mr. Modarresi, by selectively choosing narrations and presenting them in distorted or incomplete form, has constructed his own mental agenda regarding the trajectory of Imami Shia history. It was also noted that many of the documents he presented were either fabricated from Isra'iliyyat (Judeo-Christian apocrypha inserted into Islamic tradition), or had no external existence at all — being purely the product of the author's imagination, shaped by his particular ideological views
